This is my latest 3D illustration called "NEPTUNE" After two days of modeling and texturing the creature in zbrush all parts droped in 3ds max for lighting and rendering and adding the sea surface. I also used after effects with particular plugin to create the particles. Postwork made with photoshop

Beautiful work. I am trying to model a more normal type of fish and I think I could use some help. Unless thery are trade secrets of course. Are you using a trenslucency map + subsurface scattering for the creature? Did you UV map in one piece or in several?

Thank you. Yes here i used 3ds max SSS material and i unwrapped it in one piece inside zbrush with uv master

Thanks. ZBrush seems to be a really good program. Unfortunately I as a hobbyist go for the budget programs like Cararra.
