This is my first 3D short movie animation called "COSMOS - the pass of a day". Cosmos in greek means world so here i'm pointing to several earth locations beggining with the sun rising and finish when the sun sets. I had to render 5600 frames of 1024 x 576 res. It took me two and a half months to model the environments render and finaly edit them. I needed about an afternoon or whole day to create every scene and one or two days to render each one of them. In order to decrease render time i used global ambience insted of global radiocity as lighting method and all scenes are rendered in final mode and that's why there is so much color flickering. All scenes created with vue 10xstream and worldmachine 2, and post production done with after effects and photoshop cs5.
All wav samples are from [link] and music track is composed by Kostas Loukovikas from consciousness federation
Great It just reminds me HOME movie by Yann Arthus-Bertrand[link] very realistic, It's great idea about real locations. my favourite are: Ontario's Boreal forest and Loen lake I think they're most realistic.
@03:38I am very impressed. I wouldn´t have thought one could get such atmospheric scenes in such a short time. And the music suits well. So give my Congratulations to the composer also.
